Do I need to be an experienced cyclist?

It depends on the tour. We offer trips for all levels from complete beginners (day rides around Kathmandu) to experienced riders (Annapurna Circuit, Upper Mustang). Each trip page clearly indicates the difficulty level.

What bikes do you use?

We use high-quality full suspension and hardtail mountain bikes. All bikes are regularly serviced. You are also welcome to bring your own bike.

What is included in the tour price?

Our tour prices typically include airport transfers, accommodation, meals as specified, guide fees, permits, bike rental and a support vehicle. International flights are not included.

Is Nepal safe for mountain biking?

Yes, Nepal is generally safe for mountain biking. Our experienced guides know the routes well and we carry first aid kits on all rides. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

What is the best time to visit?

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the best seasons. The weather is stable, skies are clear and mountain views are spectacular.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers mountain biking activities and emergency evacuation. Please check that your policy covers adventure sports.

Can I join a group tour or do I need a private tour?

We offer both group and private tours. Group tours are more affordable while private tours offer more flexibility. Contact us to discuss which option suits you best.

How do I get to Nepal?

Most international visitors fly into Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. There are direct flights from many Asian hubs including Dubai, Delhi, Singapore, Bangkok and Doha.

What currency is used in Nepal?

The Nepalese Rupee (NPR) is the local currency. USD, EUR and GBP are widely accepted in tourist areas. ATMs are available in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
